Welcome to Sweet Secrets of Paris. These Terms and Conditions govern the use of our website and the booking of our culinary and cultural experiences. By confirming a reservation with us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to the terms set forth below. We encourage you to review them carefully before finalising your booking.

I. Booking and Payment

  • Booking Confirmation: All experiences are subject to availability and considered confirmed once full payment has been received through our online system.

  • Payment Methods: We accept major credit cards, PayPal, and other secure payment methods as listed on our website.

  • Pricing: All rates are displayed in Euros (€) and include French Value Added Tax (VAT) at 20%, in accordance with applicable legislation. Prices may vary depending on group size, private arrangements and seasonality.

 

II. Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Cancellations by Guests: Cancellations made more than 48 hours prior to the scheduled start time are fully refundable. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled start time are non-refundable. No-shows will not be entitled to any refund or credit.

  • Cancellations by Sweet Secrets of Paris: In rare cases, we may need to cancel or reschedule a tour due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to severe weather, national strike, or other operational concerns (such as a heist in the Louvre museum). In such cases, guests will be offered the choice of an alternative date or a full refund. Sweet Secrets of Paris shall not be held liable for any additional costs incurred as a result of such cancellations.

 

III. Tour Participation and Responsibilities

  • Age and Health Requirements: Small children and babies are most welcome. Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Participants should be in adequate physical condition to join walking tours, which may involve uneven pavements and moderate walking distances.

  • Dietary Restrictions: Please notify us of any allergies or dietary restrictions at the time of booking. While every reasonable effort will be made to accommodate your needs, Sweet Secrets of Paris cannot guarantee the total absence of allergens in any food or beverage offered during the experience. Guests with severe allergies or medical conditions will be requested to sign a waiver and release of liability prior to participation.

 

IV. Liability

Participation in tours and experiences offered by Sweet Secrets of Paris is undertaken at your own risk. Sweet Secrets of Paris and its representatives shall not be held liable for:

  • Any personal injury, accident, illness, or loss of property occurring during the experience;

  • Delays or interruptions caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

We recommend that all participants have adequate travel and medical insurance covering personal injury, property loss, and cancellation contingencies.

 

V. Privacy Policy

  • Data Collection: We collect only the personal information necessary to process your booking and ensure effective communication. This may include your name, contact details, and payment information.

  • Use of Data:
    Your data will be used exclusively for administrative and service-improvement purposes. Sweet Secrets of Paris does not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties, except when required by law or essential service providers (e.g., payment processors).

  • Data Security:
    We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to safeguard your personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, or disclosure.
