Having explored over 40 countries and taken both group and bespoke food tours across Asia, Europe, and Africa, Michelle brings her unique perspective to the curation of every experience. A passionate food-tour lover herself, she recalls her favourite discoveries from the street food of Hanoi to the refined flavours of her home city, Beijing, experiences that continue to inspire her Sweet Secrets of Paris tours today.

On our Arty Pastry & Chocolate Crash Course in Montmartre, we will be discovering Montmartre in the north of Paris. Our meeting point for this experience is usually Place des Abbesses metro station, which will be confirmed at the time of booking.

As part of our experience, we will have the chance to visit the interior of ÉgliseSaint-Jean de Montmartre, one of the youngest churches in Paris, or Église Saint-Pierre de Montmartre, one of the oldest.

You will have the opportunity to explore the Basilica of the Sacred Heart, or Sacré-Cœur in French, after our tour, so that you can take all the time you need to fully enjoy the very special experience at your own pace.

Montmartre certainly attracts many visitors, especially with the popularity of movies like Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain, or TV shows like Emily in Paris.

With a knowledgable guide, it becomes possible to step away from the busiest squares, explore the village-like streets and discover the lesser-known artisans and hidden spots frequented by locals. Of course, we will still walk past the most emblematic artist workshop Bateau-Lavoir and feel the vibes at Place du Tertre. You will also be delighted to discover the vibrant collection of street art in the neighbourhood.
